23 Sep
Summary
- Nephew allegedly threatened Dolly Parton's estate and legacy.
- Restraining order granted against estate security head.
- Accused claims statements were taken out of context.

Dolly Parton's estate manager, Danny Nozell, has initiated legal action against Bryan Seaver, the dismissed head of security for the estate and Parton's nephew. Nozell, on behalf of She's Alive, LLC, secured a restraining order against Seaver on Tuesday, alleging he engaged in "threatening" behavior towards the estate and individuals connected to Parton's legacy. These alleged threats reportedly escalated after Parton's passing on August 25.
Legal documents claim Seaver, who provided security for Parton's properties for nearly two decades, made statements such as vowing to "destroy the entire brand" and threatening business partners. He also allegedly identified himself as an "international arms dealer and mercenary" and a "killer." Some estate personnel have resigned, and Parton's attorney withdrew due to fear of being targeted, with others hiring private security.
Seaver has asserted that his words were misinterpreted and taken out of context. He stated to TMZ that while he is a "career soldier and military contractor" and a "killer," his comments were part of "rage talk" with Nozell during their shared grief. He clarified that his remarks about "ratf---ing" specific business entities were directed at those he believes harmed Parton, not Dollywood itself.
