Dolly Parton has recently shared a positive update regarding her health, following the postponement of her Las Vegas concerts last fall due to undisclosed medical issues. The country music legend made a rare public appearance to mark the opening of her Dollywood theme park for the season.
During her appearance, Parton explained that she had become "worn down and worn out," particularly after the death of her husband of 58 years, Carl Dean, in March 2025. She emphasized her commitment to rebuilding herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically, stating that her health concerns have not significantly slowed her down.
Prior to this update, Parton had revealed she was suffering from kidney stones, which led to the postponement of her shows. She also missed the IAAPA Hall of Fame ceremony in November 2025. Her sister, Freida, had previously caused concern by asking for prayers for Dolly, but later clarified that her sister was just "a little under the weather."
