Doja Cat's 'Vie' Tops Fan-Voted Music Poll Ahead of SNL Debut

In a poll published on September 26, 2025, music fans have overwhelmingly chosen Doja Cat's new album 'Vie' as their favorite new release of the week. The album, which made its debut during a crowded release period, managed to capture nearly half of the total votes (49.91%).

'Vie' represents a return to Doja's pop roots, led by the single "Jealous Type." The 15-track collection also features a collaboration with fellow artist SZA. Notably, this is Doja's first time working with producer Jack Antonoff.

Ahead of the album's release, Doja shared new cover art that she described as representing "falling in love" and "taking a leap of faith." The imagery of a yellow parachute caught in a tree is said to symbolize "curiosity, happiness, and adventure."

Doja is now set to bring her new music to the stage, with a scheduled appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on October 4, 2025. This will be followed by a tour that will take her to New Zealand, Australia, and across Asia in the coming months.
