In 2025, a heartwarming CGI-animated feature is in the works that reimagines the story of the iconic dodo bird. The film, co-produced by Sydney-based studio Cheeky Little Media and Cantilever Media, follows the adventures of Dave, the last of his kind.
Dave is a naive, relentlessly optimistic dodo who faces the threat of extinction in the perilous streets of 1628 London. With the help of the streetwise rat Eggy, Dave must overcome his fear of flying to survive. The project is currently in the financing and development stage and is set for delivery in 2027.

"Unpredictable, funny, and full of character, it carries a message between the laughs."
