The film chronicles the extraordinary existence of Fatimazahra and her community, known as the "Children of the Moon." Born with a rare genetic disorder rendering sunlight lethal, they established a nocturnal way of life.
Following Fatimazahra's death last year, the community embarks on a poignant migration to Norway's Lofoten Islands, seeking solace beneath the polar night. El Moudir emphasizes her intent to explore this hidden society not as victims, but as individuals forming romantic connections and finding normalcy within their unique, sun-averse world.
