DJ Shadow is revisiting his acclaimed work, releasing "Nobody Speak Part 2" featuring Denzel Curry and TiaCorine. This updated track builds on the original collaboration with Run the Jewels from his 2016 album, "The Mountain Will Fall." The new version introduces fresh verses from Curry and TiaCorine, who are also part of Shadow's multimedia project, The Scythe.
This release is part of a series of celebrations for significant anniversaries in Shadow's career. Later this year, Mass Appeal will release a 10th-anniversary reissue of "The Mountain Will Fall." More prominently, 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of "Endtroducing.....", the groundbreaking 1996 album that revolutionized instrumental hip-hop and sample-based music.
To honor "Endtroducing.....", Shadow announced a 20-date North American tour starting September 20, where he will perform the album live in its entirety for the first time. The tour will conclude with a sold-out performance on December 18 at London's Barbican, featuring the BBC Symphony Orchestra performing the album front-to-back.
