DJ Dreams Come True: Creamfields Slot Secured!

Social media manager Jordan Tilstone, 27, has achieved a significant career milestone by securing a stage slot at the Creamfields dance music festival. The email offering him the opportunity arrived during his normal workday, an event he described as surreal and a moment he had to hold in. This booking represents the culmination of 11 years of dedicated DJing and personal sacrifice.

Tilstone, who specializes in trance music, will perform alongside major international artists such as Calvin Harris and Martin Garrix. He noted that trance is currently less prominent in the UK compared to house or techno, positioning himself and a new generation of DJs as revivers of the genre. His inclusion on the lineup, in the same font and next to renowned names, brought him to tears.

Beyond his musical genre, Tilstone distinguishes himself through a strong connection to his home, Stoke-on-Trent. He previously hosted a rave at the Gladstone Pottery Museum and plans to organize more events at cultural heritage sites within his city. His music also features heavier drums and mechanical sounds, inspired by the local pottery industry, further embedding his heritage into his artistic identity. Creamfields is scheduled for the bank holiday weekend of August 27 to 30.
