Divorced Couple Reunites to Support Cancer-Stricken Wife

In October 2025, Arroyave, 48, revealed that he is currently dating someone new, describing the relationship as "pretty serious." However, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has not let his new relationship interfere with his commitment to supporting his estranged wife, Mellencamp, 44, who is battling stage IV melanoma.

Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. But just five months later, the couple put their divorce proceedings on hold when Mellencamp revealed she was diagnosed with the aggressive form of skin cancer that had metastasized to her lungs and brain.

Despite their separation, Arroyave has continued to live with Mellencamp "90 percent of the time" to ensure she and their three children are taken care of during this challenging time. Mellencamp has expressed gratitude for her estranged husband's unwavering support, stating, "He's been there for me a hundred percent, he's been there for the kids, and we're back to laughing."

Mellencamp's latest scans have shown no detectable cancer, though she will remain on immunotherapy treatment for the foreseeable future. As the couple navigates this difficult period, they are focused on co-parenting their children and supporting each other through Mellencamp's health crisis.
