Divorced Couple Adjust Custody to Accommodate Parent's Move Across States

As of October 17, 2025, divorced actors Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have updated their custody agreement for their 8-year-old son Jack. The former couple, who were married from 2012 to 2014, have been sharing joint legal and physical custody of their son since their separation.
However, the custody arrangement has recently changed after Bell decided to relocate from Los Angeles to New York in August of this year. To accommodate the move, Wood and Bell have agreed that Jack will now spend a month living with his mother in Tennessee, followed by a month with his father in New York. This alternating monthly schedule between the two states will continue going forward.
The exes have also worked out the details of Bell being allowed to see Jack during the times he is in Tennessee, as well as who gets custody on holidays and summer vacation. They have agreed to split the costs of Jack's travel between the two homes.
