Disneyland Dazzles with Drone Light Show in the Skies

In the past couple of nights, some Southern California residents have been treated to a free Disney-themed drone light show near Disneyland. The drones have been flying above the Golden Oak Ranch, a filming location that Walt Disney leased and later purchased in the late 1950s.

The drone display has been capturing stunning visuals, such as the image of Captain Hook's pirate ship soaring through the sky. This type of visual effect is something that cannot be achieved with traditional fireworks or projection mapping, making it a truly unique Disney experience.

While the exact plans for this drone show are still unclear, the fact that it is being tested so close to Disneyland Resort suggests that it could be part of a new nighttime spectacular in the works for Walt's original park. Alternatively, it could also be a preview of a show planned for the upcoming Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, which is set to debut a new nighttime show in 2026 that will incorporate both water screens and drones.
