In a move to expand its international content offerings, Disney+ has unveiled a new Korean-Japanese romantic comedy series titled 'Merry Berry Love' (working title). The show, set to premiere on the streaming platform in 2026, stars Ji Changwook and Mio Imada in the lead roles.
The series follows the story of Lee Yubin, a down-on-his-luck Korean spatial designer, and Karin Shirahama, a strawberry farmer from Japan. The two characters find love on a remote Japanese island, where their lives intersect in unexpected ways.
