Additionally, Disney+ will host 50 episodes of a new series, 'Stick to United,' co-hosted by Manchester United's record goalscorer Wayne Rooney and fan favorite Mark Goldbridge. This collaboration underscores the increasing demand for podcasts led by former players and the strategic expansion of global streamers into video-centric sports audio content.
Both 'Stick to Football' and 'Stick to United' will be accessible on Disney+, other podcast platforms, and The Overlap's YouTube channel. A portion of the 'Stick to United' episodes will be exclusively available on Disney+ for a limited period. Disney+ will also be the headline sponsor for both shows during the 2026/27 season.
