A new film, currently in production in Los Angeles, is set in a near future where micro-plastic mutations have decimated the global child population. The story follows a private investigator as she navigates a harsh black-market economy.
When her employer orchestrates the kidnapping of a young girl for her healthy organs, the investigator goes rogue. This decision forces her to confront dark choices she made in the past to save her own daughter, while simultaneously seeking redemption.
Nicholas Batchelder is directing from his own script, marking his feature film debut. Producers include Sarah Phillips, Tennessee Martin, Batchelder, and Sanaz Tamjidi, with Small Batch Films and Radical Kindness Productions financing the project.
