Director Bala, known for his distinctive filmmaking, recently had his compassionate nature brought to light by actor-director Singam Puli. An incident from the production of 'Naan Kadavul' showcased Bala's exceptional care for the individuals who acted in his film.

Singam Puli recounted how Bala arranged for the actors, who were beggars, to stay in a star hotel in Chennai. They were provided with three meals a day and enjoyed a week-long tour of the city. This gesture offered them experiences far beyond their usual circumstances.

Further demonstrating his thoughtfulness, Bala also facilitated a meeting with the renowned music composer Ilaiyaraaja. He ensured the actors received gifts and photos, explaining that these were opportunities they might never encounter otherwise in their lives.
