Actress Dipika Kakar has been navigating a challenging period since her liver cancer diagnosis in 2025. Despite undergoing surgery, she has continued her treatment and recently engaged in filming a music video with her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim. This marked her return to facing the camera, a prospect that initially filled her with nervousness.

Recounting the experience, Dipika expressed her apprehension about performing after a long break. She credited Shoaib for his steadfast support, describing him as a 'rock' who boosted her confidence and reassured her she was 'always a star.' In recent vlogs, Shoaib shared details about Dipika's health, revealing a 12kg weight loss. He attributed this significant change primarily to the side effects of her immunotherapy treatment. He explained that the treatment causes nausea and difficulty eating, leading to weakness and unintended weight loss. Dipika had previously stepped away from Celebrity MasterChef due to health concerns.
