Diljit Dosanjh Nominated for International Emmy, Falls Short

Diljit Dosanjh, nominated for Best Performance by an Actor at the International Emmy Awards 2025, was recognized for his role in the film 'Amar Singh Chamkila'. He graced the red carpet event in New York City, showcasing his distinctive style with a glittery jacket and a black turban.

Despite the nomination, the Best Performance by an Actor award was presented to Spanish actor Oriol Pla for his performance in 'Yo, Adicto'. The film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' itself was also in contention for Best TV Movie/Mini-Series but did not win, with 'Lost Boys & Fairies' ultimately claiming the honour.
