Digital Influencer Awez Darbar Exits 'Bigg Boss 19' After Controversy

On September 29, 2025, digital influencer and content creator Awez Darbar was evicted from the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss 19'. Awez, the son of music composer Ismail Darbar, had entered the show with his longtime girlfriend and fellow influencer Nagma Mirajkar.

Awez's eviction came after he landed in the bottom three alongside Ashnoor Kaur and Pranit More, based on audience votes. Other contestants nominated for eviction included Gaurav Khanna, Mridul Tiwari, and Neelam Giri.

During his stint on the show, Awez faced a major controversy when co-contestants Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik accused him of being disloyal to Nagma, claiming he had messaged other girls while in a relationship. This accusation stirred up a storm within the 'Bigg Boss 19' house, though the issue eventually died down.

Even though Awez had built good bonds with housemates like Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, Gaurav Khanna, Pranit More, and Mridul Tiwari, he was often seen as too quiet on the show. Host Salman Khan had repeatedly urged him to be more vocal and involved in the game.

Ahead of his eviction, Awez's sister-in-law and 'Bigg Boss 7' winner Gauahar Khan appeared on the show to give him a much-needed wake-up call. She advised him to start taking a stand and not let others overshadow him, while also strongly criticizing Amaal Mallik for using harsh language and bringing personal matters into the game.

With Awez now out of 'Bigg Boss 19', it will be interesting to see how his departure will impact the dynamics among the remaining contestants.
