According to recent reports, rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs' release date from prison has been pushed back by over a month. Combs, who was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, was originally set to be freed on May 8, 2028. However, Federal Bureau of Prisons records now show that his new release date is June 4, 2028.
The reason for the change in Combs' confinement is currently unclear. His spokesperson has not provided any explanation for the delay. This news comes just days after Combs' family denied a TMZ report that alleged the "I'll Be Missing You" artist had gotten into trouble in prison by being caught with homemade alcohol.
Combs, who is 56 years old, was recently transferred from the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center to the low-security federal correctional institution FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. He is now set to spend a little over a month longer behind bars than initially scheduled.
