Sean Combs Sees Early Prison Release

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' projected prison release date has been expedited by approximately six weeks. He is now slated to be freed on April 25, 2028, moving from his earlier June 4, 2028, release. This adjustment comes as Combs continues his appeal against a four-year sentence imposed for sex trafficking and racketeering convictions.

The accelerated release is reportedly due to his enrollment in a drug rehabilitation program last November. Combs, who is incarcerated at Fort Dix in New Jersey, has experienced previous shifts in his release date. Earlier, his release was rescheduled from May 8 to June 4, 2028, following alleged infractions in late 2025, including claims of consuming homemade alcohol and making an unauthorized three-way call.

Representatives for Combs have strongly denied allegations of rule violations, including the claim of consuming alcohol. They assert his focus remains on personal growth and rejoining his family. A spokesperson emphasized his commitment to sobriety and self-discipline during his incarceration. It was also noted that initial rumors are common during an inmate's early days at a facility, urging privacy and understanding.

Despite the denials, Combs reportedly faced disciplinary action for a three-way call, which is prohibited under Bureau of Prisons regulations. This rule aims to prevent inmates from coordinating criminal activities. However, Combs' legal team stated the call was with his lawyer, who then added a communications head to discuss a statement for media approval.
