Dick Van Dyke and Wife Wow Neighbors with Spooky Halloween Extravaganza

In Malibu, California, legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, now 99 years old, and his wife Arlene Silver, 54, are continuing a beloved Halloween tradition. For the past decade, Silver has been producing an elaborate Halloween show at their home, known as "Halloween at Vandy Manor."

This year, on October 31st, 2025, Silver made a grand entrance dressed as Ursula from The Little Mermaid, lip-syncing to "Poor Unfortunate Souls" alongside her talented Vandy Manor Dancers. Van Dyke, who is known more for his Christmas celebrations, watched proudly from the sidelines as his wife of 13 years went on to perform dances to Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" and Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" for the neighborhood children.

What started as a small backyard event with a few monsters and decorations has now grown into a full-fledged production, complete with scare actors, life-like animatronics, professional puppeteers, and even belly dancers. Silver has continued to build upon the stage show, making it more family-friendly over the years, while still maintaining its spooky charm.

"We have a little bit of everything," Silver tells PEOPLE. "The stage show is more of a variety show, and it's more for kids. Little kids can come -- sometimes little kids were too scared for the big monsters -- and now almost everyone is in costume. That's the thing I love. I love that everybody's in costume, and Dick, he loves to watch the show. I'm his favorite. He sits there and watches my show."
