As of October 8th, 2025, the box office battle is heating up between Leonardo DiCaprio's thriller "One Battle After Another" and Jackie Chan's martial arts film "Karate Kid: Legends." Despite the dominance of "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle" in foreign markets, "One Battle After Another" has been earning well, collecting over $62.1 million internationally so far.
DiCaprio's film crossed the $100 million milestone in its second weekend, with a global total of $105.8 million. In contrast, "Karate Kid: Legends," the continuation of the 2010 "Karate Kid" and the TV series "Cobra Kai," has only managed to collect $116.8 million worldwide, experiencing an underwhelming box office run.
Now, "One Battle After Another" is poised to beat "Karate Kid: Legends" in its third weekend, as it is only around $11 million away from surpassing the worldwide haul of the Jackie Chan-starring film. The PTA-helmed actioner, released on September 26th, is also moving closer to entering this year's top 25 highest-grossing movies.
