Songwriter Diane Warren has brought home a black-and-white pig that recently gained internet fame after being spotted in West Hollywood. The pig, dubbed 'Wilbur' online, was taken to a local animal shelter. After no one claimed him, four individuals participated in a silent auction, with the winning bid placed by a representative for Warren.
Warren, known for writing numerous hit songs, expressed her desire to acquire the pig upon seeing news coverage. Wilbur is set to live on a seven-acre sanctuary in Malibu, a property named Mousebutt Rescue Ranch, which houses various other animals. This sanctuary is dedicated to animal rights and protection.
Warren, who has a notable history of Academy Award nominations, including 17 without a win, humorously contrasted her Oscar losses with winning the pig. She is considering renaming the pig 'Hollywood' and stated that Wilbur will have a wonderful home. Her foundation also supports causes for the elderly and those with life-threatening illnesses.
