VisionQuest Handler Revealed as AI: A Familiar Face

In 2026, Diane Morgan has portrayed two unique artificial intelligence characters. The British comedian starred as an AI carer in the sitcom 'Ann Droid' and, as revealed in Episode 6 of Disney+'s 'VisionQuest,' her Marvel character, the Handler, is also an AI. The Handler, a tech wizard assisting Paladin, was exposed as an AI by Vision's friend E.D.I.T.H. during a confrontation in 'VisionQuest.'

Morgan also created and co-wrote 'Ann Droid,' a BBC One sitcom about an elderly woman and her android carer, Linda. This series, which premiered in July 2026, follows Linda's development of human emotions. Despite its positive reviews and a 92% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, 'Ann Droid' has not yet been released in the U.S., though it has been renewed for a second season.
