Ranveer Singh's film, Dhurandhar, has seen a notable drop in box office collections, registering single-digit earnings on its fifth Monday. This marks a sharp decline after an unprecedented streak of double-digit collections for 30 out of its first 31 days, accumulating a domestic total of Rs 825.70 crore.
The film's performance in its initial weeks was exceptionally strong, with Rs 218 crore in the first week, Rs 261.5 crore in the second, Rs 189.3 crore in the third, and Rs 115.70 crore in the fourth week. Despite this slowdown, Dhurandhar continues to lead ahead of other releases.
Looking ahead, Dhurandhar is set to face increased competition with the release of Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab' on Friday, January 9, 2026. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh anticipates a slowdown in overall business due to the end of the holiday season and anticipates watching how Dhurandhar maintains its performance.
