Jaskirat Singh Rangi's backstory involves a revenge-driven killing spree and his role as an operative infiltrating a global terror network. He is later mentioned in Uri: The Surgical Strike by Kirti Kulhari's character, Flight Lieutenant Seerat Kaur, as her husband, Captain Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who was martyred in an ambush.
