Dhurandhar 2 Release Stalled in South Over Tech Glitches
18 Mar
Summary
- Southern markets face last-minute cancellations of non-Hindi Dhurandhar 2 shows.
- Theaters cited 'non-availability' of content, confusing ticket holders.
- Dubbed versions are not ready due to last-minute technical sound corrections.

The southern release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been marred by last-minute show cancellations in Tamil Nadu and other southern regions. Theaters cited content unavailability as the reason, leaving ticket holders confused about the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala revealed that the delay stems from technical issues. The Hindi version is ready for early screenings, but the dubbed South Indian versions require last-minute sound and edit corrections. This means only the Hindi version, even without subtitles, is being distributed for premieres.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge was slated for a March 19 release, with paid previews commencing on March 18. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt.
