7 Apr
Summary
- Bora Bazar market became Pakistan, shooting limited to Sundays.
- Mumbai's Film City recreated an ambulance scene due to issues.
- The Lyari set was one of the most expensive creations.

Rupin Suchak, the additional production designer for Dhurandhar 2, described his collaboration with director Aditya Dhar as a fantastic experience.
Suchak joined the project after the original production designer departed, taking over midway through production. The film's Lyari neighborhood, a significant backdrop, was meticulously constructed on a six-acre set in Bangkok, representing one of the most expensive set creations.
Filming encountered logistical challenges, leading to the recreation of an ambulance scene featuring Sanjay Dutt in Mumbai's Film City. Additionally, the bustling Bora Bazar market in Mumbai was transformed to resemble Pakistan, with shooting exclusively permitted on Sundays due to its working nature.
The production team faced tight deadlines, requiring significant financial investment to complete crucial scenes, including an expensive bathtub sequence. Suchak emphasized that with thorough planning and a capable team, any creative vision can be executed, even with time constraints.
