The movie has also made history by becoming the highest-grossing Indian film ever in North America, outperforming SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2. Week 1 of its release contributed Rs 674.17 crore, followed by Rs 263.15 crore in Week 2.
Dhurandhar 2, which features Ranveer Singh as a spy named Hamza Ali Mazari and Sanjay Dutt as SSP Chaudhary Aslam, mixes spy fiction with real historical events. The film's narrative follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who is transformed into a deadly operative in Karachi.
