Detroit is alive with anticipation for tonight's 68th annual Ford Fireworks, themed "Detroit! Go for Launch." For attendees heading to designated viewing areas like Hart Plaza and Spirit Plaza, security will be in effect. These locations are weapon-free zones, and all visitors will undergo screening, with coolers and backpacks subject to search. Re-entry is not permitted once visitors leave these sites.
A curfew is also in place for minors aged 17 and under. Minors within this zone must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older, unless traveling for work, school, or organized activities.
