Ahead of the series' release, Snook told PEOPLE that the show "speaks to what the female resilience is required to be." Dakota Fanning, who stars as Jenny Kaminski, added that a "big point of contention for Jenny is her domestic life" and the challenges of maintaining an equal balance with her husband. Fanning noted that "friends and girlfriends are the most important things and most important relationships."
