In a highly anticipated move, Depeche Mode has announced the release of four previously unreleased tracks from the studio sessions for their 2022 album, Memento Mori. The tracks, titled "In the End," "Survive," "Life 2.0," and "Give Yourself to Me," will be made available to fans in the coming months.
The first of these new songs, "In the End," is set to debut on streaming services on Oct 24, 2025. Some lucky fans were able to hear the track earlier, as it was featured during the end credits of the new Depeche Mode documentary, Depeche Mode: M, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival back in June 2025.
Directed by Mexican filmmaker Fernando Frias, Depeche Mode: M is not a traditional concert film, but rather an exploration of the role that mortality plays in Mexican culture. The film features narration from actor Daniel Giménez Cacho, as well as interviews with fans, artists, and other cultural commentators. Depeche Mode: M will receive a limited theatrical release starting Oct 28, 2025, before being made available on physical media on Dec 5, 2025.
In addition to the documentary, the upcoming Depeche Mode: M box set will also include a more traditional concert film, Memento Mori: Mexico City, which Frias also directed. A double-disc live album for the Memento Mori tour will be included as well, giving fans a comprehensive look at the band's latest live performances.
