Deool Band 2 Box Office Slows, Won't Beat Baipan Bhari Deva
27 Jun
Summary
- Deool Band 2 earned 72.86 crore net in 37 days.
- The film is unlikely to surpass Baipan Bhari Deva's collection.
- Deool Band 2 is set to finish as fourth-highest-grossing Marathi film.
The Marathi film Deool Band 2, featuring Mohan Joshi and Snehal Tarde, has experienced a slowdown at the Indian box office. In its sixth week, the movie's collection pace has decreased considerably.
As of its 37th day, Deool Band 2 has garnered a net collection of approximately 72.86 crore in India. This figure, while substantial, now makes it improbable for the film to surpass Baipan Bhari Deva's lifetime collection of 76.28 crore.
Deool Band 2 required an additional 3.42 crore to secure the third position among the highest-grossing Marathi films. Given its current performance, it is expected to finish its theatrical run as the fourth-highest-grossing Marathi movie, a milestone that seems unattainable.
The week-wise breakdown reveals a strong opening week with 30.2 crore, followed by 22.4 crore in the second week. Subsequent weeks saw collections of 11.15 crore, 6.22 crore, and 2.7 crore, with only 19 lakh earned on its sixth Friday.
