Denise Richards & Aaron Phypers: Spousal Support Battle Explodes

Denise Richards and her ex-husband Aaron Phypers are currently embroiled in a public battle over spousal support payments. Phypers has alleged that Richards has been delinquent in her support obligations, leading to his severe financial distress.

He claims to have experienced eviction from his home and a disconnection of essential utilities, including power, water, and phone services. Phypers also stated that his car was being repossessed, and he lacked funds for basic necessities like gas to attend legal appointments.

This financial dispute follows a period of intense acrimony during their divorce proceedings. Richards had previously filed court documents accusing Phypers of physical assault, including allegations of choking and head slams, and had been granted a temporary restraining order against him.

Phypers has broadly denied these domestic violence allegations. The couple, who married in September 2018, cited irreconcilable differences when their separation was revealed, with Phypers filing for divorce in July 2025.

Before his marriage to Richards, Phypers was also married to actress Nicollette Sheridan, with whom he finalized a divorce in 2018.
