The suspense surrounding the librarian character from Demonte Colony 2 is set to be resolved in Demonte Colony 3. Guru Somasundaram has been officially cast to portray this enigmatic figure, whose identity was a cliffhanger in the previous installment. The filmmakers shared this revelation on a Tuesday, accompanying it with a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the production.
Ajay Gnanamuthu is directing the third installment, which features Arulnithi in the lead role. The ensemble cast also includes Priya Bhavanishankar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Archana Ravichandran. Previously released posters depicted Arulnithi in Demonte's attire amidst corpses and Priya Bhavanishankar in a striking pose.
The film's music will be composed by Sam CS, with production led by Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal, and Durgaram Choudhary. Sivakumar Vijayan is managing the cinematography, and Kumaresh D is the editor. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2026.
