On October 30, 2025, veteran actors Demi Moore, 62, and Billy Bob Thornton, 70, reunited on the red carpet ahead of the Paramount+ drama's season 2 screening. The longtime friends recreated an iconic pose that Thornton had previously done with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie during their marriage from 2000 to 2003.
Thornton, dressed casually in jeans, a sleeveless tee, and a trucker hat, stood behind Moore, who sported a tight denim dress. He wrapped his arms around her waist as Moore rested her hands on his and smiled at the camera. At one point, Moore even put her hands over her face, seemingly reacting to something Thornton said.
Moore and Thornton's friendship dates back to their 1993 film Indecent Proposal. In 2024, Thornton gushed that Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who passed away in 2023, are "like family" to him. The actors have collaborated on several projects over the years, including Armageddon, Bandits, and The Astronaut Farmer.
Despite their long history, Thornton revealed that Moore "didn't remember" him when they reunited for the Paramount+ drama's second season, which was filmed from April to August 2025. Nonetheless, their enduring friendship and chemistry were on full display during their recent red carpet appearance.
