Delnaaz Irani: Peace Over Alimony in Divorce

Actress Delnaaz Irani has spoken candidly about the conclusion of her 14-year marriage to ex-husband Rajeev Paul, with their divorce finalised in 2012. Irani stated that she chose her peace over engaging in a potentially contentious legal battle for alimony. She explained that while the divorce was public knowledge in 2010, their relationship had deteriorated earlier. The actress admitted that the emotional toll of the separation was significant, a struggle she initially concealed from her parents. This period coincided with her father's health issues, as he suffered a heart attack in 2010 and passed away in 2011.

Irani emphasized that she received no financial settlement, as her priority was to rebuild her life after the marriage. She recounted that the divorce process was difficult because her ex-husband desired it, while she did not. Despite the challenges, Delnaaz Irani has embraced a new chapter, currently being in a live-in relationship with her fiancé, DJ Percy.
