Delnaaz Irani: Peace Over Alimony

Delnaaz Irani has revealed that she opted for peace over financial settlements during her divorce from Rajeev Paul. The actor stated that she relinquished all her claims, choosing personal tranquility amidst a challenging separation. Irani, who comes from a traditional Parsi family where divorce is uncommon, explained that the decision stemmed from emotional turmoil.

While her separation became public around 2010, Irani noted that the relationship had emotionally ended earlier. She also addressed her perception on Bigg Boss, suggesting that her kindness was misinterpreted as weakness. Regarding the show, she dismissed claims of it being scripted, calling it a game where contestants must perform well.

Irani admitted shock at Paul's entry into the Bigg Boss house but maintained her dignity. She also recalled a difficult period following her father's death in 2011. Describing herself as a 'rebel,' she was the first in her family to marry outside their community and the first to divorce, emphasizing her choice to navigate these experiences on her own terms.
