New Stars Join Cult Leader Horror Flick 'Deify'

The indie psychological horror film "Deify" has expanded its principal cast with seven new additions. Directed by Carmelo and Nicholas Chimera, the project features Neal McDonough and Skeet Ulrich in lead roles.
Currently in production in Chicago, "Deify" draws inspiration from the events of the 1993 Waco, Texas, standoff. The narrative focuses on a cult leader, played by Ulrich, who faces trial after allegedly causing his followers' deaths, claiming divine instruction.
Neal McDonough portrays the prosecuting attorney, while Dennis Haysbert takes on the role of the judge. Ashley Greene will play the evaluating psychologist, and Kirk Acevedo is cast as a convicted murderer. The film's producers include Mike Manning, with Chimera Studios and J2 Productions LLC attached to produce.
