Television actress Deepika Singh has addressed online criticism following her recent visit to Vrindavan. Singh faced backlash with allegations of receiving VIP treatment at a temple, with claims that other devotees, including elders and children, were overlooked.

To counter these accusations, Singh shared a video from a different perspective on her social media. This footage aimed to prove that the narrative was misrepresented and that prasad was indeed offered to other devotees present. She emphasized that blessings given to children are a form of divine love.

Singh directly addressed her critics, accusing them of playing with devotees' emotions and using such reels to gain views and followers. She stated that such actions could demoralize those new to their spiritual path and urged respect for devotees' sentiments. She also highlighted that true 'prasad' involves a pure mind and abandoning ego.

The controversy began when an online user posted a video alleging preferential treatment for the celebrity. The visuals, however, also showed the priest blessing Singh's family, including her husband and children, with sacred items like scarves and flutes, which she later used as evidence against the trolls.
