Bollywood Star Deepika Padukone Expands Global Footprint

In the past few years, Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has been very selective about the projects she takes on, both in India and internationally. According to a close friend of the actress, Padukone has now hired one of the top Hollywood talent agencies to oversee her work as she aims to expand her global footprint.

This is not the first time Padukone has looked westward to further her acting career. In 2017, she made her Hollywood debut in the action film XXX: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel. Now, the actress is set to reprise her role in the sequel, which will be shot entirely in Mumbai. Padukone reportedly requested the filming location so she could remain in India with her young daughter.

Padukone's international ambitions do not stop there. Earlier this year, she was offered a role in the third season of the acclaimed HBO series The White Lotus, but turned it down in order to focus on her family. As of September 2025, the actress appears to be firmly committed to balancing her burgeoning global career with her responsibilities as a mother.
