DeAnna Pappas Sues Ex Stephen Stagliano for $109K

DeAnna Pappas, a former contestant on 'The Bachelorette,' has initiated legal proceedings against her ex-husband, Stephen Stagliano. Pappas is seeking an order for Stagliano to pay her $109,000, plus accrued interest, for allegedly violating the terms of their 2026 divorce settlement.

According to court documents filed recently, Pappas asserts that she was awarded half of Stagliano's retirement account. However, she claims Stagliano illicitly withdrew a significant amount of money from this account before transferring her entitled share. Her legal team has calculated her share to be $109,000, a sum she states has not yet been paid.

Pappas has requested the court to declare Stagliano in breach of their settlement agreement and to compel him to pay the full amount, including interest. A court hearing concerning this financial dispute is scheduled to take place in June.

The couple, who married in 2011, divorced in 2023. They share two minor children. Initially, Stephen Stagliano was ordered to pay $2,000 monthly for child and spousal support. This obligation was later reduced to zero after he cited financial difficulties following the termination of his gaming job.

Last year, Stagliano expressed concerns about his financial status, pleading for a reduction in support payments. He stated he was actively seeking employment without success and was relying on Uber earnings for income, while also claiming to have paid $1,500 in alimony monthly. Court filings indicated his monthly earnings were approximately $436, with only $10,000 in his bank account.
