Dean McLachlan has concluded his 30-year tenure with Mushroom Group, marking the end of an illustrious career spanning over four decades in the Australian music industry. He began his journey with Mushroom in 1997 as a promotions manager.
Over the years, McLachlan contributed to various divisions, including Mushroom Music Publishing and Bloodlines, where he served as general manager and later managing director. Most recently, he held the position of senior director, iconic artists and catalogue.
His departure follows the recent formation of Mushroom Music in July 2024. CEO Matt Gudinski praised McLachlan's integrity and enduring contributions, noting his role in shaping numerous artist careers. Co-CEO Linda Bosidis highlighted his unparalleled passion and loyalty.
