Ryan Reynolds Teases Major Change for Deadpool in MCU

Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he is writing new material for his signature character, Deadpool, and is teasing a significant transformation for the Merc with a Mouth within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Following the phenomenal box office success of 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' the question of when Wade Wilson will return to the MCU is on many fans' minds. Reynolds' comments suggest a potential shift away from solo Deadpool movies, leading to discussions about his future role.

While some fans are excited about the prospect of Deadpool interacting with a wider range of MCU heroes, others express concern that making him a supporting character might be a misstep. The possibility of him appearing in upcoming blockbusters like 'Avengers: Doomsday,' scheduled for December 18th, 2026, remains open due to the multiversal nature of these films.

The 'Deadpool' trilogy is currently available for streaming on Disney+. The creative direction for Deadpool's character remains a topic of intrigue, with anticipation high for his next appearance.
