Wizards of the Coast is preparing a significant Star Wars expansion for Dungeons & Dragons, slated for release in summer 2027. This new adventure will initiate the "Season of Rebellion." Artwork for the Tyro Squadron campaign has been revealed, showcasing players as members of a clandestine Rebel crew operating during the Original Trilogy period.
This expansion will introduce a new core rulebook tailored for the Star Wars universe, allowing players to embark on daring missions and explore uncharted regions of the galaxy. While the specific mechanics of the Star Wars "reskin" remain undisclosed, past crossovers like the World of Warcraft integration suggest how popular Star Wars archetypes might translate into D&D classes.
Additional information regarding this Star Wars integration for Dungeons & Dragons is expected to be shared at Star Wars Celebration. This event is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles from April 1-4, 2027.
