DC Studios Unleashes Two Films in One Month!

DC Studios is embarking on its most ambitious release schedule this summer, marking a significant moment with two films premiering in the same month for the first time since James Gunn and Peter Safran assumed leadership in 2022. This cinematic event kicks off with 'Supergirl,' set for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026. Simultaneously, 'Batman: Knightfall Part 1' is scheduled for its premiere at the Annecy Film Festival on June 21, 2026.

The studio's 2026 lineup extends beyond these two major releases. Animated productions such as 'Creature Commandos' and 'Peacemaker' Season 2 have already set the stage. The summer will also see the arrival of 'Lanterns,' an HBO Max original series, in August 2026, exploring a cosmic mystery tied to a Nebraska murder case.

Further expanding the DC Universe, the 2026 slate includes 'Clayface,' positioned as the first villain-led film and the inaugural horror title. This film, which wrapped production in Liverpool in October 2025, has shifted its release date to October 23, 2026. Other projects slated for 2026 include 'Batman: Caped Crusader' Season 2 on Prime Video and 'My Adventures of Superman' Season 3.
