'DC' Stars Lokesh Kanagaraj in Dark Revenge Saga

The raw action drama 'DC' is set to arrive on digital platforms, with an official OTT release date confirmed for September 4. The film will be available on both Amazon Prime Video and Sun NXT, featuring Tamil and Telugu versions for a wider audience. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, 'DC' reimagines Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel 'Devdas' as a violent revenge saga. Lokesh Kanagaraj, renowned for his directorial work, takes on the leading role of Das, an outlaw whose life is shattered by the murder of his beloved Parvathy.

The narrative follows Das's descent into a blood-soaked quest for vengeance against corrupt police officers. Wamiqa Gabbi co-stars as Chandra, a woman striving to escape exploitation, with their intertwined fates forming the emotional core of the film. Anirudh Ravichander's music has been a significant element, enhancing the film's dramatic intensity. Since its release, 'DC' has garnered critical acclaim for its performances, action sequences, and overall filmmaking.
