As of its eighth day, DC had accumulated a net collection of 44.76 crore in India.
On its second Friday, DC experienced a drop in shows due to the release of other films, including Suriya's Vishwanath And Sons. Despite this, the movie maintained healthy occupancy and earned 2.86 crore on day 8, a 31.08% decrease from the previous day. The film's total net collection reached 44.76 crore, translating to a gross of 52.81 crore.
With its impressive earnings, DC has now surpassed the lifetime collection of LIK: Love Insurance Kompany (43.07 crore). The film is poised to climb higher in the 2026 Kollywood box office rankings, with expectations that it will soon overtake Parasakthi, Youth, and Blast to secure the 4th position. DC is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner and is reportedly loosely based on the novel Devdas.
