David Tennant is making a highly anticipated return to the Doctor Who universe, reprising his role as the beloved Tenth Doctor. This new venture is an expansive 15-part audio drama series titled Doctor Who - The Tenth Doctor Adventures, produced by Big Finish Productions.
The initial 12 episodes, each an hour in length, are slated for release starting in the summer of 2027, with subsequent installments arriving bimonthly. The final three episodes will be part of a special boxset, though its release date is yet to be confirmed.
Described by Tennant as a "rollercoaster ride," the audio dramas promise to be fast, funny, and scary, featuring surprises from the outset. Notably, the Tenth Doctor is expected to team up with some of his other incarnations during these adventures. The series is currently available for pre-order on Big Finish's website.
Tennant previously returned to Doctor Who on-screen in 2013 and later as the Fourteenth Doctor in 2023. The new audio adventures offer fans another opportunity to experience his iconic portrayal of the Time Lord.
