David Bowie's acclaimed Glastonbury band will reunite for a significant fundraising event at Cameron House on Loch Lomond. Scheduled for November 7 and 8, "Bowie: Live on the Loch" commemorates the 10th anniversary of the legendary musician's passing.
The weekend's proceeds will benefit Save the Children, a charity that Bowie actively supported throughout his life, including donating proceeds from his 50th birthday concert. The event will include live performances by the band that graced the Glastonbury stage in 2000, alongside rare footage of Bowie, a photography exhibition, a gala dinner, and an auction of signed guitars.
Guitarist Earl Slick, keyboardist Mike Garson, bassist Gail Ann Dorsey, musical director Mark Plati, and drummer Sterling Campbell are confirmed to perform. Slick will also host a guitar auction featuring contributions from notable musicians. Save the Children expressed deep gratitude for the star-studded event, highlighting the critical need for support for children facing instability worldwide.
