Football icon Sir David Beckham is set to make his debut in the popular video game Fortnite as a new playable character. This highly anticipated addition to the Fortnite Icon Series officially launches on July 18, at 1am BST. Players will be able to embody the former England captain, complete with a range of outfits that reflect his signature style. Among the available skins are a sophisticated black suit adorned with a club crest and a classic football kit, allowing fans to emulate Beckham both on and off the pitch.
Further customization options include a shirtless variant that showcases his distinct glowing gold tattoos on his arms, torso, and neck. These tattoos are reactive, meaning they illuminate with every player elimination, adding a dynamic visual effect to gameplay. The collaboration also introduces unique in-game items such as the Meteor Baller Pickaxe and the Number Seven Scythe Pickaxe, designed to enhance the player's experience. Beckham himself shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating that Fortnite offers exciting ways to connect with fans worldwide and that he enjoyed working on this celebration of his career.
